Manor Courses is currently recruiting residential staff for summer 2012. Positions start with an Induction on Mon 2nd July.

All these posts are residential positions and involve residential and excursion supervisory roles and involve working with people under the age of 18. We have a 48hr working week at summer school.

Criminal Records
All candidates should be willing to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check for suitability to work with young people.

Work/Resident status
All candidates should be UK / EU passport or UK visa holders (we are not able to obtain Permits or Visas for applicants).

  • have a degree.
  • have a Trinity TESOL/Cambridge CELTA certificate.  Other ELT qualifications must have a minimum 100 hours input, include  a minimum 6 hours teaching practice, and must be externally validated by a university,  and cannot be online only.
  • or have a PGCE or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • have experience in a similar teaching environment.
  • be prepared to accept other duties as well as teaching (i.e. excursions, residential supervision).
  • although not essential, the ideal candidate will also have a Trinity DipTESOL / Cambridge DELTA, or Young Learner qualification eg. Trinity STYLE or Cambridge CELTYL.
