As part of the excursions on offer this year we’ll be taking our students to the historical city of Oxford, ‘The City of Dreaming Spires’.

Oxford is famous the world over and is most closely associated with Oxford University which was founded in the 12th Century and has been home to royalty and scholars.

Our excursions will either incorporate a sightseeing walk or a sightseeing bus tour where you’ll get an opportunity to see some of the significant landmarks such as the Bodleian Library, New College & Christchurch. These are stunning places in their own right but if you are a Harry Potter fan these are particularly significant as all three university sites featured in the films, mainly in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, as well as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!

Despite its ancient past Oxford is a very modern city with a thriving cafe culture and bustling shopping district providing plenty of opportunities for our students to exercise their English skills!

We’re looking forward to taking our students there this year!
